Jade M. Anderson is the CEO of Capstone Brokerage, Inc., a fast-growing Las Vegas-based company specializing in risk management, property and casualty insurance and employee benefits. Anderson founded Capstone in 1997 after graduating from UNLV with a bachelor's degree in business administration management.
Since its establishment, the company has grown tremendously and has seen a revenue increase of more than 700 percent over the last 3 years.
Relying on his years of experience in risk management, insurance and employee benefits, Anderson has completed several acquisitions of commercial property and casualty agencies and is seeking additional acquisitions to grow his company into one of the top brokerage businesses in the Las Vegas area. He's already on his way, having been named in April "Nevada Small Businessperson of the Year for 2008 by the U. S. Small Business Administration." He was also recently named as one of the top 40 business people under the age of 40 in Las Vegas by In Business Magazine.
He is a member of the Vegas Valley Angels, an Angel Investment Group, and a member of the influential Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) Las Vegas chapter as well as a member in the CEO group Vistage.
In 2006, he was selected as one of only 60 applicants in the world to participate in the prestigious Entrepreneurial Masters Program at MIT and successfully completed the program in 2008. The program is jointly hosted by the world-renown MIT Enterprise Forum, Inc. and EO. The faculty consists of top entrepreneurial professors from Boston's leading universities including MIT, Harvard and Babson as well as leading CEO's and business owners from around the globe. The three-year program is open to entrepreneurs under the age of 40 who are founders and lead a company with gross revenues of US$1 million or more.
During the past 15 years, Anderson has made a strong commitment to serving the community through his company's charitable support. Anderson holds a position on the board of trustees for Olive Crest Homes & Services for Abused Children. He is also on its development committee and golf committee. The charity, founded in 1973, is dedicated to preventing child abuse, treating and educating at-risk children and preserving the family "One Life at a Time." Since its inception in 1973, Olive Crest has provided loving care for over 40,000 children and families.
The entrepreneur previously served as public relations director and political action committee chairman for SNALU, now known as the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors of Southern Nevada.
