Director of Financial Reporting
Our client, a large publicly-held gaming and development company located in Las Vegas, is currently interviewing for a hands-on individual with recent SEC FINANCIAL REPORTING experience to join their team as the company's Director of Financial Reporting.
This individual will have responsibility for all internal and external financial reporting and SEC compliance. Specific roles and responsibilities are as follows:

• Preparation of all aspects of the SEC filings - 10Q, 10K, 8K, MD&A preparation, disclosures, earnings releases and proxy statements
• Coordination of the annual audits and the related SOX compliance related to corporate and external financial reporting.
• Compilation of financial statements in accordance with SEC and GAAP reporting requirements and technical accounting research.
• Researching and resolving accounting and business issues; including technical accounting research
• Work closely with corporate accounting in the implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
• Assisting with the preparation of all presentations to investors, management and Board Members
• Coordinating all external audit requirements with Big Four firms

Requirements:
Successful candidates will have the following:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting required
• 5 years+ recent experience in the Big Four with SEC clients and/ or with industry experience in SEC/Financial Reporting
• CPA is highly preferred
• Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word and financial reporting systems
• Must also possess strong written and verbal communication skills

Our client, a large publicly-traded company with corporate offices located in Las Vegas, NV, has partnered with Accountants Inc. to locate the ideal candidate for their Director of Internal Audit position. Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility will be to work with all department operations within the organization to determine and develop a risk assessment plan. They will develop audit programs and must be able to direct such assignments from the planning stage to the final report issuance. This will be a fast-paced, changing priority environment and only candidates with excellent time management skills and flexibility will succeed. This person will also work closely with the Compliance department to ensure compliance with SOX 404 and AS5. As such, they will coordinate the testing of the company's internal controls and ensure that documentation is updated timely as processes and systems are re-engineered. Most importantly, this position is considered a business partner with the other departments of all of the companies and must work closely with all levels and areas throughout the company to assist them. They will also have high involvement with the C-suite executives and must be able an agent of change that drives value throughout the organization.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CIA required, 8-10 years experience in auditing - including experience with a large public-accounting firm (Big 4 preferred) and/or a Fortune 500 company ( Knowledge of and experience overseeing compliance with Sarbanes Oxley 404 required. Experience with international operations and regulations a big plus. Transportation, commercial development, entertainment and/or construction industry experience very helpful. Travel will range from 10-25%, domestic and international. Excellent teambuilding, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, flexibility as to job priorities and schedule, high ethics and commitment to change.

Salary:
