Larry’s career at Les Olson Company began in 1963. For the past 46 years he has focused on selling and networking to build the family business. Four generations of Olson’s are now working at the company. Along with other family members Larry has been able to work alongside his father, his son Troy, and now his grandson Nick. Larry attributes the success of the business to the great dedication and hard work of all of the company’s employees-many of whom have been with the company 25 years or more.
In 2001, Larry became the third President of Les Olson Company; he also serves on The Board of Directors. Larry served as Chairman of the Board and CEO until January of 2010 when he turned 65, which is the company transition time for transfer of shares to the third generation. Today, Larry spends much of his time working with St. George Utah and Las Vegas Nevada Branches of the company to help grow the customer base.
Larry has served on the Board of Governor’s for the South Salt Lake Chamber and is currently on the Board of Directors for Amicus Foundation, The Hale Center Theatre, and the Utah Section PGA.
An avid golfer, Larry takes time to play with business associates and friends. He has played golf at numerous courses around the world and attended many PGA events.
Larry is married to his high school sweetheart Pat Olson and considers his 47 year marriage to Pat, and their three children, and nine grandchildren to be his greatest accomplishment in life.
